BESN.TV Sponsors the Minority Serving Institutions esports Classic & Conference!

Black eSports Network (BESN.TV) is happy to announce we are sponsoring Pharaoh's Conclave's Minority Serving Institutions esports Classic & Conference!

This first-of-its-kind event will take over four days, in celebration--and observance--of National Video Games Day from September 9-12, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia.

"BESNTV's goal has always been to push for more people of color in esports and gaming," said founder Tim Fields. "We're excited to be supporting this event."

The MSIeCC will feature:

  • Tournament Play where individuals can compete for scholarships;

  • Industry-Focused Panel Discussions and Workshops provide immersive experiences designed to expose attendees to industry professionals, chronicling the journey of their career and the pathways they took to get there;

  • Industry Office Hours where students can engage with regional and national esports and tech companies in a one-on-one dialogue around potential co-op, internship, and employment opportunities;

  • Technology Talent Recruitment Pipeline (TTPR) Expo

  • MSI Leaders Roundtable that connects MSIs to resources to help them start and grow esports programs at their institutions

  • Gamers Read Virtual .5k (500 m) Walk/Run/Sprint aims to bring the gaming, cosplay, anime, and running communities and their families together to advocate for literacy, especially among youth in grades K-5. This event will be on Saturday, September 12, 2021, at the Mercedes Benz Stadium Backyard, celebrating National Video Games Day.

"Our objective expose [minority serving institutions] students and alumni to the entry points of careers in esports and uncover and prepare them for esports careers," Pharaoh's Conclave said in an email. "If you have any questions or need any additional information, please feel free to email us at"

Registration for the MSIeCC is $50/person and includes access to all Classic & Conference events, including the Gamers Read Virtual .5K (500m) Walk/Run/Sprint.

We hope to see you all there!
